JPTT has invested in a state-of-the-art infrastructure which includes big capacity pumps in the range of 3000 cubic meter/hour to significantly increase the loading and transferring ability of products from our terminal. Thereby reducing the waiting time for our customer’s vessels which in turn reduces their costs.
JPTT’s direct connection to Jurong Island also provides a logistical and strategic advantage to our customers by reducing operational risks and time, as well as cutting down logistics costs of vessels chartered to transfer products between terminals and refineries, or plants in Jurong Island.
Blessed with deep waters in Jurong Port, JPTT is one of the few terminals in Singapore whose jetty can handle a Suezmax tanker operation. With a storage capacity of about half a million cbm, JPTT has four berths to support the customer’s throughput activities, giving it an ideal tank capacity-to-jetty ratio. Moreover, all the jetty pipelines are piggable hence reducing the risk of product loss and contamination.
