A Hot work permit is required to be submitted for all hot work activities to be carried out within JP port premises and onboard any vessels.
A Hotwork Assessor needs to be appointed by the Agent/Contractor to carry out an assessment of the work location and its adjacent/ immediate vicinity. Upon completion of the assessment and the Hotwork assessor is satisfied that the intended hot work can be carried out safely, he/she shall then endorse on the relevant section of the hot work permit.
