An Equipment Permit Card is required for equipment that:
- Is mechanically powered;
- Requires deployment or stationing within operational areas; and
- Has potential safety impact on personnel or infrastructure.
Examples include forklifts, excavators, wheel loaders, MEWPs, reach stackers, road rollers, and other similar machinery.
