Mechanical Engineer (Contract 1 Year)
The Job
- Assist Manager in running proof of concept projects — develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management
- Gather operation data and needs, prepare tender specifications and other documents etc. customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates
- Determine project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements
- Assist manager to identify project phases and elements, reviewing bids from contractors
- Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
- Assist in performance by designing and conducting tests
- Conduct project site inspection and ensure subcontractors carry out their work accordingly
- Assist in equipment testing, commissioning and maintains project data
- Develop training materials for maintenance, preparation of risk assessment and safety work procedure documents etc.
- Lead and manage facility team for maintenance of port facility
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- Min 2 years Project Management knowledge
- Familiarity with electrical/mechanical/pneumatic system knowledge
- Good team player, excellent communication and organizational skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Experience in facility management and vendor management
