Senior/Systems Engineer

The Job

• Subject Matter Expert for Linux, Solaris and Oracle Web Logic
• Provide level 2/3 technical support to ensure fulfillment of service level
• Proactive exploration of technology and research of market best practices
• Take charge of the system security and establish compliance with policies/ procedures through continuous security reviews and audits
• Project management of ad-hoc infrastructure development projects and liaise with vendors/ other IT personnel for problem resolution

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree qualification in Computer/ Electronic/ Electrical Engineering of relevant experience.
• Strong technical background with minimum 4 years’ hands-on experience in administering and security hardening of Linux and Solaris etc.
• Strong experience in the administration of Weblogic Application Server and software rollout.
• Strong experience in the administration of Apache Server, Oracle Database and Application Delivery Controller.
• Possess good working knowledge of TCP/IP networking.
• Willing to work out-field and provide after office-hours remote standby support.
• Ability to work independently and provide outstanding customer support in a fast-paced environment.
