Chief Corporate Services Officer
Michael joined Jurong Port as Chief Human Resource Officer on 1 September 2014.
On 1 February 2017, he was redesignated to Chief Corporate Services Officer. The umbrella of corporate services division will include the transformation of safety and security as well as the consolidated shared services such as human resources, legal and central procurement.
Michael has had more than 20 years of broad-based HR experience, particularly in the areas of change management and the resolution of complex and sensitive people issues.
Starting his HR career as a Graduate Trainee in Keppel Group, Michael rose quickly to the position of Personnel Manager leading the Personnel Department for Keppel Integrated Engineering. Since then, he has held managerial and senior management positions in well-known Singapore-based companies and multi-national corporations such as Reuters Singapore, Microsoft Operations and Singapore Exchange.
Prior to joining Jurong Port, Michael was the Head of Human Resources for Group Digital L!fe in Singtel.
Michael graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from the National University of Singapore. He also holds a Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and a Graduate Diploma in Financial Management.
