Terence Moo has been with Jurong Port since 1998 and has 30 years experience in shipping and port business.
He started his career with Neptune Orient Lines Ltd from 1988 to 1998 in various commercial and operational roles and was posted to Germany for four years as their commercial representative in Europe.
In Jurong Port, he held various responsibilities including Vice President of Marketing & Corporate Development, Senior Vice President International Terminals and prior to this, as its Chief Business Development Officer. He was responsible for the port’s expansion overseas in China and Indonesia as well as managing various projects in Singapore including the setting up and development of Jurong Port Tank Terminals. He also helped established its Container Terminal.
Terence holds a Bachelor Degree of Engineering (Civil) from the National University of Singapore and a Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management from the Singapore Institute of Management. He also completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School, Boston.
Headquartered in Singapore, Jurong Port is a leading international multipurpose port operator handling general, bulk and containerised cargo. Jurong Port began operations in 1965 as a general and bulk cargo port, serving the development needs of Singapore’s Jurong industrial estate. Today, its main gateway terminal in Singapore welcomes more than 15,000 vessels each year from both the region and internationally.
