Jurong
Port's Container Terminal, which started operations
in mid-2001, is now a hive of activities with vessels
from main lines and feeder lines calling regularly round-the-clock.
These lines include UASC, Zim Line, Emirates Shipping Line, CSAV-Norasia Lines, Gold Star, Shipping Corporation of India, TS Lines, Laurel Navigation, HubLine, CMA CGM and Hanjin. In addition, these lines
carry containers belonging to many other shipping lines
when they call at Jurong Port. Together, they have a
worldwide connectivity of over 87 major ports across
45 countries.
The
Port's connectivity is further extended with an inter-terminal
arrangement with PSA Corporation that allows for smooth,
fast and seamless transhipment connections, involving
mainline operators and feeder lines.
The
inter-terminal arrangement is made possible with a system
linkage to PSA Corporation system that facilitates real-time
exchange of transhipment information to plan and monitor
connections.
Jurong
Port has won votes of confidence from the industry with

Currently, the Port has 14 quay cranes of maximum 22-row outreach and twin-lift capability, 34 rubber-tyred gantry cranes, 5 berths and expanded storage yards.
