  • Jurong Port won the “Asia Pacific Multi-Purpose Terminal Operator of the year” Award at the Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Best Practices Awards.
  • Jurong Port won the "Best Container Terminal – Asia (under 1 million teus per annum)” Award at the Cargonews Asia's Asian Freight & Supply Chain (AFSCA) Awards.

2010

  • Jurong Port received the Merit Award for the Singapore National Infocomm Awards 2010 under the category: “Most Innovative Use of Infocomm Technology” (Private Sector) category.
  • Jurong Port won the IDC Enterprise Innovation Awards 2010.
  • Jurong Port won the “Asia Pacific Multi-Purpose Terminal Operator of the year” Award at the Frost & Sullivan Asia Pacific Best Practices Awards.
  • Jurong Port won the "Best Container Terminal – Asia (under 1 million teus per annum)” Award at the Cargonews Asia's Asian Freight & Supply Chain (AFSCA) Awards.
  • Jurong Port won the May Day CBF Model Partnership Awards 2010 – Individual Category

2009

  • Jurong Port won the Lloyd's List "Achievement in Safety” Award for making the port a safe and healthy workplace.
  • Jurong Port won the "Best Container Terminal – Asia (under 1 million teus per annum)” Award at the Cargonews Asia's Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards.
  • Jurong Port's infrastructure and facility upgrading and expansion projects were all completed and in full operations.

2008

  • Jurong Port won the "Best Container Terminal – Asia (under 1 million teus per annum)” Award at the Cargonews Asia's Asian Freight & Supply Chain (AFSCA) Awards.
  • Jurong Port's Small Craft Terminal for wooden crafts plying the Riau islands started operations
  • Jurong Port's Penjuru Terminal for lighterage and ship-chandling operations started operations along Sungei Jurong.
  • Jurong Port opened new 12-lane Main Gate.

2007

  • Jurong Port won the "Best Asia Pacific Container Terminal” Award at the Supply Chain and Management Logistics World Awards.
  • Jurong Port won the "Best Emerging Container Terminal Operator – Asia” Award at the Cargonews Asia's Asian Freight & Supply Chain (AFSCA) Awards.
  • Jurong Port initiated a Safety Pledge together with port users as a display of total commitment to integrate safety into all operations in the port.
  • Jurong Port's five new Doosan-designed 22-row container quay cranes were commissioned.
  • Jurong Port's mechanical roll-on roll-off ramps for landing crafts started operations.

2006

  • Jurong Port's Container Terminal handled its first 8,000 teu vessel – MV CMA CGM Otello (8,488 teus)
  • Jurong Port won the "Best Emerging Container Terminal Operator – Asia” Award at the Cargonews Asia's Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards.
  • Jurong Port received a Commendation Plaque from the National Transport Workers' Union (NTWU) in recognition of Jurong Port's contributions towards good labour management relation.
  • Jurong Port sold Jurong Logistics Hub to Mapletree Logistics Trust Management Ltd to focus on its core business competence.
  • Jurong Port started upgrading and expansion works for its infrastructure and facilities such as warehouses, berths and open yards; which were rolled out in phases over the next 3 years.

2005

  • Jurong Port won the "Best Emerging Container Terminal Operator – Asia” Award at the Cargonews Asia's Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards.

2004

  • Jurong Port became a a security-compliant port under the International Ship and Port Facility Security (ISPS) Code.
  • Jurong Port won the "Best Emerging Container Terminal Operator – Asia” Award at the Cargonews Asia's Asian Freight & Supply Chain (AFSCA) Awards.

2003

  • Jurong Port won the "Best Emerging Container Terminal Operator – Asia” Award at the Cargonews Asia's Asian Freight & Supply Chain Awards.
  • Seamless transhipment of containers between Jurong Port and PSA Corporation.
  • Jurong Port introduced a new entry pass, a contactless smart card enhanced with security features.

2002

  • Batch transfer of transhipment information between Jurong Port and PSA Corp was implemented.

2001

  • Jurong Port was corporatized and became a fully-owned subsidiary of JTC Corporation.
  • Jurong Port was awarded a full port licence by the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore.
  • Jurong Port's Container Terminal started operations.
  • Jurong Port-Online, a web-based transactional portal, was implemented
  • New management and cargo IT systems – Container Terminal Management System and the General and Bulk Management System – were implemented to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Jurong Port's Jurong Logistics Hub, a multi-storey warehousing complex, was launched.

1996

  • Jurong Port's Cement Terminal, one of the world's largest common-user cement facilities, at Pulau Damar Laut started operations.

1968

  • Jurong Port became a business division of JTC Corporation (JTC) in 1968.

1965

  • Jurong Port was established in 1965 to support the growth of Jurong Industrial Estate, Singapore's first industrial estate.
