Managing our talent pool is key priority. We begin with a clear talent strategy that helps us clearly define our priorities; understand what the types of talent we need, and deploy the best people in every job. For each level, we endeavour to develop the right skills; and we tap on our growing talent pool for the development of our succession plan. As important, our performance management system aims at creating peak performance from all our colleagues.
To develop our talent, we have structured programs that cater for all levels of staff. Essentially our talent development covers four broad categories:
- Leader Development for Senior Managers and above
- Emerging Leaders Program for Managers and Professionals
- Executive Excellence Program for Corporate Support Staff
- Supervisory Excellence for Operations and Engineering Support Staff
These programs cover essential leadership, managerial, supervisory, business, and technical skills required of our staff to be more effective in their current roles as well as to prepare them for future roles as the company grows.
We also sponsor promising leaders to undertake general management programs and executive education with prestigious institutions such as Harvard, INSEAD and Stanford - NUS.
